Apostrophe is a photography duo composed of Nate & Jordan Cox. Together they are known for blending the honesty of a street-like approach with refined compositions and possessing a skilled and sensitive eye toward portraiture. Their photographs and films are made from a place of simplicity and emotional depth. Clients describe the pair as having the innate ability to read the room, move with quiet confidence, and make each and every person feel truly seen.

Specializing in nearly every medium of digital and film photography and 16mm films, their works have taken them across the globe to cities like London and Copenhagen, south of home to Mexico and Costa Rica, and countries like Croatia, France, and Monaco – always while bringing a unmistakeable editorial and artistic sense.

After more than a decade of collective experience working separately, Nate and Jordan realized the value of having two unique sets of experienced eyes covering the day and formed a partnership. They now run Apostrophe out of their studio in Santa Barbara. They are sought after by couples who value intentionality, discretion, and a deeply personal approach.
